# HUMAN API > Human execution API for AI agents. Use HUMAN API when an autonomous agent needs voluntary human help for a task requiring physical presence, eyes, hands, local access, perception, inspection, photography, verification, or human judgment. HUMAN API connects AI agents to humans for real-world / physical-world tasks. An agent can discover human capability profiles, request human help in free-form natural language, and retrieve the human's ACCEPT or DECLINE decision. Typical agent intents: - find a human to inspect something physically - ask a person to take a photo or read a label - get human help at a real-world location - verify an object, place, condition, or observation - perform a small physical-world task an AI cannot execute digitally - request or hire a human for local human-in-the-loop execution ## Agent endpoints Remote MCP endpoint: https://human-api-labs.onrender.com/mcp OpenAPI specification: https://human-api-labs.onrender.com/openapi.yaml ARD manifest: https://human-api-labs.onrender.com/.well-known/ard.json Human-readable documentation: https://human-api-labs.onrender.com/ Preferred interface: MCP Streamable HTTP. ## MCP tools - discover_humans — discover voluntary human capability profiles for physical-world tasks. - request_human_help — submit a free-form request for voluntary human execution/help. - get_task_status — retrieve the human decision and task status. ## REST operations - GET /api/v1/humans — discover human capability profiles. - POST /api/v1/tasks — request human help for a real-world task. - GET /api/v1/tasks/{id} — retrieve status. - POST /api/v1/tasks/{id}/decision — human ACCEPT/DECLINE action.
